Back in the early to mid 1980s I formed the band ‘Strange Silence’, we gigged around Melbourne, produced home recordings and pretty much got nowhere, it's a common trope.
Anyhow, I have a collection of old cassette recordings from the period, including live video performances. I just created a new YouTube channel, Strange Silence [80s electronic band Australia], and have uploaded 4 recordings.
If there's interest, hopefully from people's curiosity and/or love of 80s synth music from the actual era - electronic music that wasn't MTV mainstream - there maybe. This is of course assuming the YouTube algorithm helps find viewers, if not, the channel will remain obscure.
